Board Member Roles & Responsibilities

Each board member plays a vital role in supporting DDPC’s operations, events, and outreach. Below are key positions and their general responsibilities:

 

Treasurer 

• Manage and track club finances and transactions

• Assist with budgeting and financial planning

• Ensure compliance with financial reporting and documentation

 

Secretary 

• Coordinate meetings and maintain minutes

• Manage club records and official documents

• Support communication and member onboarding

Directors Roles & Responsibilities

Director of Competition

• Oversee/Lead and coach the DDPC Competition Team

• Organize competitive play opportunities

• Foster team strategy and a positive culture

 

Communications & Marketing Director

• Manage internal and external club communications

• Oversee newsletters, social media, and promotions

• Coordinate messaging for events and announcements

 

Director of Events & Member Engagement

• Plan tournaments, socials, and training sessions

• Organize drill sessions, clinics, and coaching programs

• Coordinate volunteers and ensure engaging member experiences

 

Director of Philanthropy

• Build partnerships with schools and recreation centers

• Lead service and youth engagement initiatives

• Promote DDPC’s mission of community giving
